Build Better is spearheaded by local builder Steve Dyer, who has more than 25 years experience in the building industry as a carpenter, site supervisor, builder, designer, trainer and company director.
Originally from Adelaide, Steve relocated to Byron Bay five years ago.
As a South Australian, he developed a passion for restoring old homes to their former glory. Now living in Suffolk Park, he specialises in building architecturally designed homes that are functional and respectful of our local environment.
Build Better is a member of the Housing Industry Association and Master Builders Association. We are licensed and insured in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.
In 2008 Build Better was named finalist in both the regional and State Housing Industry Association (HIA) Awards for Best Custom Built Home under $600,000. We were also a finalist in the HIA Category for Most Innovative Use of Steel.
